Generally, a soft dust cloth is all it takes to keep the screen clean. Unlike traditional monitors, they are not covered with glass, so shattering of the glass is no longer a worry. However, there are still components inside the monitor, so you should still be careful not to drop the monitor or hit it with heavy objects. Most new computers come equipped with LCD monitors, but you can purchase them separately as well. If you have an older computer, and you would like to upgrade to a liquid crystal display monitor, you will certainly be able to find one that will be compatible with your computer.
